As a backpacker, I found the vibe and style of Bayside House to be perfect for travelers like myself. The homely feel and bright colors of the artwork throughout the hostel added to the overall atmosphere. The kitchen facilities were fantastic, and the washing facilities were the best I've experienced in any hostel. The large communal area with a pool table and quirky decorations provided a great space for socializing. I also appreciated the responsive and accommodating nature of the manager, Tim. a wonderful hostel experience that I hope to revisit.

My stay at Bayside House was a nice one. The hostel had a great social atmosphere, allowing me to meet and connect with other travelers. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for me to prepare my meals. the hostel provided good Wi-Fi, perfect for staying connected with friends and family.

Although my stay was mostly pleasant, there were a couple of drawbacks. The bathrooms, especially the toilets, were occasionally dirty due to some guests not cleaning up after themselves.

Personally, I would have preferred a room with air conditioning as Melbourne can get quite hot. But hey, that's just my preference and others might not mind it at all.
